The Sumpter Valley Blue Mountain Snowmobile Club! We enjoy riding the Sumpter Snowmobile Trails! The Sumpter Snowmobile Club is one of the largest snowmobile clubs in Eastern Oregon grooming over 350 miles of beautiful snowmobile trails surrounding Sumpter ~ and club members volunteer to clean trails all summer! Our club is like a big happy family and we can't wait for the Sumpter Snowmobiling season to start each year! |

Last Newsletter of the season
It is hard to believe winter is ending and spring is springing.
Our year runs July 1st through June 30th. If we must end the season at least we are doing it on a positive note. We had 90 memberships in November but we end the season with 105 memberships. Great Job! We were able to donate $400 to the Baker City Little League
for two First Aid kits, $1,397 to the Sumpter Fire Department for the purchase of a defibrillation unit and $400 to the City of Sumpter for using the community center to help offset the high heating costs. It is important we keep our numbers growing to insure the success of OSSA and our local club.
With the help of our membership, those who advertised in the newsletter and everyone who participated in the poker run we were able to put $2,197 back into our community via donations. For a little club that is pretty impressive. To every member making our club a success, thank you. If you were available to volunteer in any way this season, thank you. If you joined our club just to "help out" by paying dues, thank you. Each and every one is appreciated. Until next season may all your trails be smooth and your rides happy ones! April Meeting
Saturday April 12th is our next and final meeting of the season
where we will elect new officers. If you wish to be an officer please let us know. Neal Bork volunteered again to be President; Terry Nordstrom volunteered again to be Vice President. We need a volunteer for the position of secretary/treasurer. Ride Safe - Ride Smart -
